Mirror Group Newspapers confirmed yesterday that it has signed a 5 year rent-free deal to move to Canary Wharf in the Docklands.
The deal, for a 25 year lease, includes a £5m payment by Canary Wharf to MGN. The move should take place early next year, with MGN occupying five floors of the centre tower. MGN is the last national newspaper group to leave Fleet Street.
