Modern Look For Bravo
In a bid to look more modern, the retro cable and satellite channel, Bravo, has redesigned its logo. The channel has developed a more colourful logo to eradicate the view of it as a boring channel showing old films. It is rumoured that approximately £700,000 has been spent in the creation and marketing of the new look.
LWT has also its their logo and will reveal it at 5.15pm on Friday 30 August 1996. The red, white and blue ribbon image (developed in 1984) will be replaced with L in red, W in silver and T in blue. The logo was designed using latest 3D graphics hardware.
There has also been speculation on the look of the BBC’s new logo, with criticisms on the cost of the project being around £5 million. Whatever the look and cost, the BBC wants the logo to be easier and cheaper to use.
