Mollin Launches New Teen Mag
Publishing group Mollin is set to launch a new title aimed at the teenage girl market. Jump, which will go on sale in October, has been a US title since 1997 and offers features, advice and stories for the 13-19 year old age group.
The publication will have an initial print run of 250,000 which is expected to settle at 120,000. As a monthly title priced at £1.70 its most direct competition will come from Minx, which reached monthly sales of 126,883 in the latest ABC circulation audit, and Bliss, whose circulation figures reached 310,389 in the report.
This is the third title to be launched by this group this year. Men’s Fitness came on the market in June (see First Issue Review – Men’s Fitness) and Shape in April (see Mollin’s Shape Launch Backed By Poster Campaign).
