Monica Proves To Be An Anti-Climax For Channel 4

Channel 4’s much heralded interview with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky did not go down too well with the viewing public. Although viewing increased for the duration of the programme, according to unofficial overnight figures the peak audience was only around 3.17 million. The average audience for the hour long programme fell between 2.4 and 2.7 million.

… Elsewhere ITV is celebrating the fact that its coverage of the quarter final match between Manchester United and Inter Milan achieved a peak audience figure of 13.2 million viewers. The average figure for the match was 11.8, with share at 47%.
