Radio stations Sun-City (Sunderland), 96.3 QFM (Paisley) and Radio City MF (Liverpool) have all changed contracts to NTL from their original service providers. The new licensee for East Lancashire, Asian Sound, has also chosen a 10-year NTL Total Broadcast deal.
NTL, who provide broadcast transmission for the likes of ITV and Channel 4 as well as satellite linking, programme distribution and telecommunications services, have continued to win transmission contracts from both large and small radio stations and see this as a tribute to their growing strength and high quality services in radio broadcasting.
Mike Appleyard, Chief Engineer of Radio City which has opted for NTL’s upgraded packages said: “We are pleased to renew Radio City’s relationship with NTL. Radio City looks forward with confidence to a long term partnership with NTL.”
