More Group Implements POSTAR

A representative from Adshel, a division of the More Group, confirmed that the company will be selling its poster sites based on audience figures from POSTAR. The move makes Adshel the first company to adopt this method. It is believed that Adshel will offer panels at the required amount to achieve POSTAR ratings rather than a fixed amount throughout the year. The new method will allow clients to be more flexible as more “ready made” packages and campaigns will be available.

POSTAR is the outdoor research system which measures poster visibility, lighting, angles, number of traffic passing each site and the objects seen when passing posters.

…According to speculation, it is believed that advertising revenue for the outdoor advertising industry will rise by 6 per cent this year. This is a result of excellent financial results from the likes of *TDI Sales Rise 43%, *More O’Ferrall Results and *Maiden Profits Jump To £3.2m. Mills & Allen also reported that revenue had increased by 31% year on year.
