More Group Launches Scrolling Squares

More Group has launched a scrolling version of its More Squares format and has signed a pre-launch deal with Vodafone who will be the first advertiser to use the new product.

More Squares, which were launched as a static billboard format last April, have been fitted with the technical capability to scroll and will launch nation-wide from spring 2002.

The illuminated squares measure 10ft by 10ft and offer an alternative to the traditional 48-sheet. More Squares form a premium campaign of 100 panels and are situated on major roads into London.

Managing Director of More O’Ferrall, Jonathan Lewis, said: “It’s our intention to build on the success of More Squares by offering them as a scrolling product. Flexibility is one of the keys to our success – we were only too pleased to offer a special pre-launch of the product for Vodafone. A scrolling billboard offers advertisers even more creative possibilities.”

More Squares were launched to build on the success of the 20ft by 20ft Golden Squares, which were launched by More O’Ferrall, a subsidiary of More Group, in 2000 (see More Group Launches New Poster Formats).
