More Group Secures £1 million From Western Union
Outdoor contractor, the More Group UK has won a £1 million solus Adshel contract from Western Union, the worldwide money transfer company. The contract was won on a competitive pitch against MediaVest and poster specialist PPL.
The pitch list included TDI, who have held the solus contract for the past two years.
The advertising brief was to produce a year long outdoor advertising strategy for London and other selected cities, targeting mainly Afro-Caribbeans. More Group was able to provide highly targeted campaigns at specific demographic areas.
The Cricket World Cup and the Notting Hill Carnival will both be used as key targeting campaign periods.
John Scorah, sales controller at More Group, commented: “We can overlay a map of Western Union’s distribution area with Adshel locations to precisely target the audience. It is even possible to pin-point a retail outlet to within one metre.”
The campaign is launched this week.
