More Group Wins Airport Advertising Contract

MoreTrans, the transit advertising division of More Group, has won the five-year contract for all interior and exterior advertising at Birmingham International Airport (BIA).

The deal is estimated to be worth over £7 million for the five years and will take effect from February next year. The airport currently holds around 95 advertising sites, but it is predicted that this will increase as BIA develops.

BIA currently handles 6.7 million passengers each year and expects this will rise to 10.5 million by 2005. Peter Smyth, More Group GB managing director, said: “More Group is a global business that can also offer BIA a global sales and marketing network. [We] will be looking to develop further panels and other communication media, broadening sponsorship opportunities as well as seeking to integrate the various media throughout the airport.”
