Reuters is to take over the production of the first hour of GMTV’s programming between 6am and 7am.
Reuters already supplies the news bulletins for GMTV; the revamp of output will make use of Reuter’s news resources to expand news coverage with more news features.
Anchor presenters will be Michael Wilson and Penny Smith, the current news reader.
The new service is due to start in mid February, but as yet has no name.
