More Regionals Joins Net
The latest regional newspapers to launch on the Internet include the Surrey Advertiser and the Sunderland Echo. The Surrey Advertiser, which launched its site last week currently only has its entertainment section on-line; its news, business, sport, classifieds are to follow later.
The Sunderland Echo carries the top local news and sports stories of the day, plus previous editions back to December last year. The site is smaller than other regional papers, and does not carry classified advertising from the paper.
