Moriarty To Remain At Radio Authority

It has been announced by Chris Smith, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport that Michael Moriarty , Deputy Chairman of the Radio Authority will now hold the position until January 2000.

Mr Smith commented, “Michael Moriarty’s expertise and experience have been a real asset to the Radio Authority, and I want to be sure that they remain available to the Authority through a period of transition and change. He is capable and highly regarded Deputy Chairman and I am pleased to announce that he has agreed to serve a further two years.”
