Amirati Puris Lintas has taken-on Deborah Mills as a senior planner, she is currently freelancing and starts at APL in September.

Nick Daly, media director at Initiative Media, is reported to be leaving to join Carat International.

At Mellors Reay & Partners, Rachel Duckett has been promoted from senior planner to planning director. She replaces Justin Kent who is emigrating to The States.

Over in publishing, Ian Richardson, advertising director of PC Direct, has been promoted to associate publisher. Rose Lewis, the ad manager of the title takes over as ad director.

The managing director of Emap Choice, Norman Wright has resigned, he wants to return to journalism. A replacement has not yet been announced. Meanwhile, in its radio division, Paul Cranwell has been appointed sales director for Piccadilly Radio in Manchester, and Barbara Gardner, a former sales director at Piccadilly, is now group sales director.
