MS&M Sells Central ITV Area

Media Sales & Marketing has brought together 16 independent local radio stations within the Central Television region, thus allowing advertisers to buy radio airtime by TV area. The Central group of stations cover 95% of the region, and offer an average monthly audience of 45% of the total population in the area.

Paul Davies, Sales Director at MS&M explains his objective as: “One-stop shopping for advertisers – instead of planners having to access individually a large number of radio stations to reach audiences defined by TV regions, they should only need to access a dozen or so.”

MS&M now offer virtually total coverage across five of the ITV regions; Central, Meridian (8 stations), West Country TV (6 stations), Scottish TV, Tyne Tees, as well as significant portions of Yorkshire and East Anglia. Davies added, “We already have sufficient stations to offer a regional option in the HTV and Granada areas and no doubt these will be developed in due course.”
