Media Sales & Marketing has won the airtime sales for Southern Radio. Southern Radio consists of six local stations in the South – in Kent,Invicta FM and Supergold; in Sussex, Southern FM and South Coast Radio; and in Hampshire Ocean FM, Power FM and South Coast Radio. The new appointment means it is now possible for advertisers to buy radio air-time across the whole of the Meridian TV region from one sales house. Southern Radio was previously sold by IRS.

LONDON 106FM NEW BOARD MEMBERS
London 106FM, the Trans World consortium bidding for one of the new London FM licences, has announced 3 board directors – Joanne Lumley, Johnny Beerling (former controller of Radio 1) and Rabbi Julia Neuberger. The group is planning an ‘adult contemporary music’ channel to challenge Radio 1 FM.
