![]()
MSN has announced a personnel shake-up to complement the expansion of its digital marketing and subscriptions business.
The initiative will see Philippa Snare promoted to the newly created role of UK business manager and Michael Steckler become sales manager. There will also be two additions to the MSN UK sales planning team and the position of business manager will be created to facilitate “effective relationships” across the group.
The changes are part of MSN’s wider development which will see MSN UK working across the Microsoft group.
Snare commented: “The business is at an exciting stage with its continued growth and I look forward to helping take our growth further by efficient business planning and ensuring the numerous groups involved work effectively together.”
Earlier this month MSN joined up with Lycos in an industry-wide initiative to promote online advertising to media owners and agencies. The group is planning a number group marketing events targeting top planners and buyers (see Lycos And MSN To Target Agencies With Online Ad Push).
