MTV and The Big Issue are to team up to promote this summers MTV guide to European Festivals. The Big Issue will be the sole publication in the UK to carry the guide to Europe’s musical festivals, which will appear in the May 15 issue. MTV Networks Europe has launched VH-1, the first dedicated German music channel for adult viewers, as a 24 hours a day service on cable networks.
VH-1, the 12 hour Astra Satellite service has already been available in Germany since 10 March 1995. With its launch into cable, VH-1 will be available to over 4 million cable households by the end of 1995.
