MTV Changes Blah Blah Blah Publisher

MTV Europe has switched Blah Blah Blah‘s publisher from Ray Gun to Attic Futura in a move which, according to MTV, is aimed at broadening the music title’s distribution to the Continent.

Sandra Keenan, vice president of MTV Europe’s corporate affairs, dismissed talk that Ray Gun had dropped Blah Blah Blah due to poor sales. She said that MTV was “happy with the circulation at present”, which is believed to be around 30,000 out of a print-run of 120,000. She went on to say that the main reason for the switch to Attic Futura is to move Blah Blah Blah on to its next stage of development – distribution in Europe, especially Germany. According to Keenan Attic has the best distribution facilities to handle this.

Blah Blah Blah launched in March of this year and, with an editorial content 70% music related, is aimed at 18-25 year olds *MTV Launches New Magazine. For a first issue review and music sector readership profiles, subscribers should click Magazine Review: Blah Blah Blah.
