MTV Networks Europe is to centralise its advertising sales operations for all UK-based media, announced MTV North Europe managing director Michiel Bakker.
The centralised sales team will be divided into two sections which will both operate under Chris Dobson, regional sales director. Simon Lewis will take responsibility for all international business originating from the US, Far East and the UK as group business director.
The national business will be handled by four directors covering the MTV and VH-1 UK and Ireland services.
Dobson says that the centralisation of UK-based operations will enable the company to “better serve [its] clients and focus business in this important area.” The Traffic and Client Services functions of the Advertising Sales department will also report to Chris Dobson.
