MVR Videotrak
Media Vision Research has developed a service to provide detailed information on the viewing of pre-recorded videos, called VideoTrak.
VideoTrak findings are based on data collected from the BARB panel. MVR encodes videos with a signal that is read by the people-meters in the BARB homes when a video is played. The system distinguishes between viewing and fast-forwarding so that the numbers and profiles of viewers actually watching the ads and promotions as well as the film audience can be monitored.
