The Department of Heritage has been renamed the Department For Culture, Media and Sport. This is to reflect the change of emphasis the new government intends to bring to the department. The Department For Culture, Media and Sport intends to have a role in preserving the past, but also to look to the future. A new logo will be unveiled in the autumn.
