National Magazines has revealed that its new women’s magazine is to be called Zest and that the first issue will appear in October with a print run of 300,000. It will be a health and beauty title aimed at ABC1 20-40 year olds.

The new magazine is being launched off the back of Cosmopolitan, which has carried a health and beauty section called Zest for the last few years. It will appear quarterly in 1995, with plans to take it monthly the following year. The advertising to editorial ratio of the first issue is expected to be 33/67.
