National Newspaper NRS – October 1998
It is not a particularly good time for the nationals in terms of readership or sales as both are falling for most titles, either year on year or month on month. Readership figures, released by the NRS this week, report a continued drop for the majority of national newspapers in the last six months.
The Guardian, News Of The World and Sunday Mirror all suffered large falls in readership since the May-October period last year.
