Natmag To Raise Profile Of Women’s Lifestyle Titles
![]()
The National Magazine Company (Natmag) is attempting to raise the profile of its women’s lifestyle titles with the appointment of Cara Sayer to the newly created position of events sponsorship and PR manager.
Sayer, who takes up the position with immediate effect, will be responsible for raising brand awareness across Natmag’s portfolio of women’s lifestyle titles including Prima, Prima Baby and Best and will focus on developing sponsorship partnerships for events within the sector.
Publishing director of Natmag’s women’s lifestyle group, Jessica Burley, said: “Events and sponsorship is an area that we felt had potential to grow within the women’s lifestyle group.”
The appointment comes two days after IPC announced the closure of its events and exhibitions business, IPC Live, and the demise of six of its women’s lifestyle titles (see IPC Closes Six Magazines), including the 74-year-old Woman’s Journal and the recently launched Your Life.
Natmag, which launched a contract publishing division last week (see Natmag Launches Contract Publishers), will be looking to consolidate its position within the exhibitions market and increase circulation across its portfolio of women’s lifestyle titles as a result of the closures.
