NatMags To Launch Zest For Men
The National Magazine Company is set to launch a new men’s magazine this October called Zest For Men. The company says the magazine is inspired by the success of its own Zest title which is aimed at ABC1 women aged 25-34.
Zest For Men will cover the same health and fitness issues as its counterpart, aiming at men who are concerned with their health but who are not fanatics. NatMags’ managing director, Terry Mansfield, says the company will draw on the experience gained through researching and publishing Zest along with the knowledge of the men’s market acquired through publishing Esquire.
Paul Colbert has been appointed as editor of the title. Until recently Colbert was editor of Focus magazine where he won Editor of the Year in this year’s British Society of Magazine Awards. He was also launch editor of XL magazine. Advertising director at Esquire, Neil McQuillan, has been appointed as project publisher of the title.
Zest For Men will be aimed at men aged 25-38. Mansfield believes that it will prove popular with advertisers. “I am sure that many of our clients who already take space in Esquire will be interested in appearing in this exciting new title,” he says.
