NBC And Anheuser-Busch Sign Major Global Media Agreement
NBC and Anheuser-Busch have announced a four-year multi-million dollar sponsorship of a variety of sports and entertainment programming on NBC’s international programmes.
The Anheuser-Busch agreement includes airtime in all of NBC’s current international properties, including “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”, NBC Super Channel’s “Talking Blues”, golf, baseball and other American sports. Anheuser-Busch is the world’s largest brewer and produces Budweiser.
Anheuser-Busch is the first advertiser to sue NBC’s Global Bonus Dividend program. This is NBC’s new incentive for advertisers which allows NBC Network advertisers to take airtime on any one or more of NBC’s international properties based on the size of their domestic purchases of NBC airtime in the United States. These properties include NBC Super Channel in Europe, NBC Asia Canal de Noticias NBC in Latin America and Television Azteca in Mexico.
