The global news companies NBC and Dow Jones this week confirmed that they will be merging.
The move will see Dow Jones’ EBN channel merge with NBC’s CNBC , which will retain its name. Dow Jones also owns the Wall Street Journal and the Asian Business News cable channel.
There will be a dedicated sales house, based in New York, which will sell airtime for the company’s Asian and European operations.
