Network World To Fold Into Network Week
CMP Media is to merge Network World into its Network Week title to avoid an overlap in the two titles’ readerships.
From the 25 March edition Network Week will be redesigned and augmented to take on some of the topics and materiel featured in Network World. The editor of the merged title, John Dunn, will be senior editor on Network Week taking specific responsibility for technology sections and features.
The controlled circulation of Network Week, which is free, is expected to rise from 42,000 to 60,000 by November.
The titles were previously owned by Emap which decided to sell them to US-based CMP Media in December last year (subscribers see Emap Computing Sells Titles) along with its stake in Information Week which is now wholly owned by CMP Media.
