New Ad Campaign For Business Magazines

A group of business magazines have just launched a £500,000 generic ad campaign which features new proof of the medium’s advertising effectiveness.

The ads, appearing throughout the next two months in leading media and marketing titles, are driven by new proof of the medium’s values contained within a new report from NOP called The Power of Business. The report, to be made available at Magazines ’96 on 7th May, “proves that business and professional magazines are the only sure-fire way to communicate with the busy decision-makers in the business.” Senior professionals, questioned about their attitudes towards business magazines were overwhelming in their praise for the medium, saying that they found their business titles essential, unique, authoritative and responsive.

The survey shows for example that 95% of business people read at least one magazine dedicated to their sector, with the average professional setting aside the time to read four titles.

The campaign will maintain its momentum with regular appearances throughout the year in all the titles of the 26 publishers who are sponsoring the campaign.
