New BBC Magazine Announced

BBC Children’s Magazines has announced it will be launching a new magazine called Learning Is Fun! on 25 September.

The 68-page monthly, priced at £2, is aimed at two audiences: 5-7 year-olds and their parents. It will have an initial print-run of 160,000 and “will help satisfy the parental need to be involved in their child’s early learning.” As well as educational fun and activities for the younger readers, there will be explanatory notes for parents.

…The first issue of a new magazine from Bounty called Arrival, aimed at the over 45’s who are expecting to be or already are grandparents, is currently in the process of a free distribution. After the first issue the title, which is quarterly, will cost £1.60 and have an initial print-run of 300,000 *Bounty To Launch New Magazine.
