This autumn BBC Magazines is to launch two new youth titles. Pingu is to be launched on 20th October and is aimed at pre-school children. It will follow the cartoon series of the same name, using original texts from Pingu the Penguin.
The title will be out fortnightly, and will have a cover price of 70p. The initial print run will be 110,000. The editorial, as well as cartoon stories will also be full of activities.
The 24 page title will be A4 size.

The other new title is aimed at 8-16yr olds and will follow the new Saturday morning show to replace Going Live!, Live and Kicking; it will also share the same name.
The monthly launches on 6th October. It will have an initial print run of 200,000, pagination of 48 and a cover price of 80p. The editorial will be a reflection of the weekly Saturday show, including many of the features from the programme.
