Rocketscience has announced that it is set to launch a new cable channel aimed solely at teenagers in the spring next year.
A spokesman for Rocketscience said that Rapture is attempting to attract a target audience of 12-20 year olds with over 2000 hours worth of UK originated programming rather than imports and re-runs which are being offered by other channels.
The programmes are being created by Rocketscience’s independent production partner Kudos Productions and programming will include chat shows, art programmes and films made by children.

… A new Asian cable channel is to be launched by a group of YTTV executives next spring. Channel Hum will broadcast one third original productions, children’s programmes and quiz shows.
