The board of Cordiant has announced the appointment of Kevin Roberts as chief executive of Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising Worldwide.
Roberts, 47, will take over from Ed Wax on 21 May. Mr Wax will relinquish his position as chief executive but will remain as chairman until the end of the year. From January 1998 he will then become chairman Emeritus.
Roberts will report to Bob Seelert who is the chief executive of the newly demerged Saatchi & Saatchi Group.
