New Emap Division Signs Nike

Emap Advertising has secured Nike as a major client for its recently launched Broadcast Innovation Department.
Over the next three months Nike will form a partnership with Emap’s Kiss FM to reach the station’s youth audience. The sports advertiser is hoping to add an extra dimension to its current TV campaign by advertising its London youth football tournament across all Kiss brands.
The Scorpion Knockout Tournament aims to get children in London playing the 3v3 football game shown in the current Nike TV ad and an interactive cross-media campaign running on Kiss FM, Kiss TV and Kiss100.co.uk will feature promotions and details of the event.
The venture will be further supported by Kissonline and Kiss TV, which will deliver Nike-only ad breaks each day throughout the campaign.
Emap’s new Broadcast Innovation Department, which offers advertisers bespoke solutions combining Emap’s radio and TV brands, launched last week with a campaign for Natwest’s “Feel The Noise Live” events (see Natwest Trials New Emap Ad Division).
