New Family Magazine To Launch

The Daily Mail Group is launching Family Fun, a new consumer magazine that primarily aimed at families with children aged 4 to 12 years. The magazine launches in March and will have an initial print run of 190,000, with the aim of settling down at around 100,000. The magazine will cost £2.50 and publish on a bi-monthly basis.

The focus of the magazine will be: children’s fashion, books, food, educational features, DIY, family finance, holidays and family games. There will a pull out supplement for children called FF and this will include cartoons and puzzles.

The publisher of Family Fun, Deborah Frazier, says: “The magazine crosses over with Family Circle and She, but only loosely because there isn’t a market at the moment.”
