Colin Tough, editor-in-chief of IPC Magazines New Media, has been appointed to the position of New Media publishing director with immediate effect. In his new role Tough will retain his editor-in-chief responsibilities.
Sylvia Auton, the board director responsible for New Media commented: “Colin has effectively been filling the publishing director role for some time and I am delighted to reflect his important contribution by this appointment.”
…Flextech has said that its group chief executive Roger Luard is on sick leave due to a condition which is affecting his eyesight. He may be absent for several months. During his absence the company will be managed by executive directors Brent Harman and Mark Luiz.
If Luard is unable to return to work he will receive a financial package worth £3.5 million.
