Two new home cinema magazines are to be launched in September from Haymarket and WV Publications. VTV will be launched on 20th September and is published by Haymarket. Although the cover price has yet to be announced, it will be a bi-monthly glossy. VTV will be purely an audio-visual hardware magazine, aimed at the 18-40 male reader.

Home Cinema Choice is to be published by WV Publications on 21st September, it will be monthly, and will have a cover price of £2.50. Initial print run will be 60,000. 40% of the editorial will be software; 60% will be hardware. The magazine will be aimed at audio visual enthusiasts. A spokeswoman at WV Publications said that the new title will be advertised in The Guardian, The Independent, The Observer, Empire Magazine, Vox, Video and What Satellite. Home Cinema Choice will be in a glossy format and will feature cover mounts.
