New Look For Sunday Times And Mirror
Two national newspapers have started the new year off with a new look.
Sunday Times showed off its revamp yesterday, with a separate, bigger business section, an expanded Travel and a more in-depth sports section. The paper now has a regular page committed to giving information and advice to small businesses.
The Daily Mirror unveiled its new image today by becoming simply The Mirror and promising to be “A New Mirror For The New Millennium”. The Mirror has a daily 12-page pull-out TV Guide claiming to be the most comprehensive listings of any newspaper. This guide includes a daily problem page by the paper’s new agony aunt, Miriam Stoppard. There will also be more pages devoted to women’s interests and extra sports coverage.
