New Look Woman’s Journal Is A Sell-Out
The September issue of Womans Journal has been declared a technical sell out after only three week’s on sale. The magazine, which is published by IPC Southbank, chose this edition to unveil its new look (see Woman’s Journal Gets New Look).
Despite the print order being increased by 50% for the relaunch, many of the UK’s stations and airports had sold out after only one week on sale. New editorship under Elsa McAlonan and a stronger design seem to have paid off.
McAlonan said: “We took a risk not using traditional glossy shades…the reaction from both existing and new readers has been overwealmingly positive”.
