New Media Age Launches Awards

New Media Age has announced that it will be launching the first awards for new media in a business context.
The New Media Age Effectiveness Awards have four objectives: to demonstrate and promote the quality of new media in the UK; to provide client companies and their suppliers with objective, demonstrable reward; to provide a clear focus on companies following and meeting defined publishing, marketing or publishing objectives; and to provide a benchmark for future new media investment decisions.
The awards cover 15 business, publishing, technology and innovation categories which cover all areas of new media such as the Internet, CD-Rom and kiosk and are supported by the PPA, the Interactive Media in Retail Group and the Digital Marketing Group. Founder sponsors include IBM, Marketing Week and PA News.
