New Media To Reach Youth Market

A new way for sponsors and advertisers to reach the much coveted youth market will come into being with the launch of the VID Zone, an interactive multimedia system which will broadcast channels aimed at young people in London.

The VID Zone uses multimedia software and touchscreen technologies to broadcast a range of channels to specific places such as universities, bars, clubs, cafes and galleries where the Zone Entertainment Network (ZEN) will allow sponsors and promoters unique opportunities to reach the youth market.

The main way ZEN will be broadcast is over the World Wide Web, where a series of tools have been developed to gather data on its users which will include tracking, user profiles and lifestyle and consumer habits. All advertisers are supplied with a detailed consumer report at the end of each one month period.

Channels which are planned at the moment are ME: tv Zone, an interactive youth channel which will cover events, entertainment, sports and news and the CD Zone, a music channel featuring over 30 new and pre-release albums.
