Emap are to launch a sixth magazine motorcycle title called Ride. The new magazine is to be launched on September 21, will have a cover price of £2.20 and will be published monthly.
Ride will have an initial print run of 140,000 and is aimed at practical motorcycle owners. The editorial content reports on new and used bikes and in depth roadtesting of products and equipment. Primarily, Ride will feature articles on buying, maintaining and riding used motorcycles.
A spokesman said that Ride has tried to steer away from the ‘dreamer’ style magazine and is aimed at people returning or becoming interested in motorcycling in their 30s.
