New Online Mag To Launch In March

Broadband A second stand-alone digital magazine is set to come onto the UK market in March, with NatMags launching an online weekly fashion and entertainment product for teen girls, under the name Project Celia.

According to reports in the trade press, the digital only magazine could use CosmoGirl! branding.

After discussions with Dennis Publishing, who launched online mag Monkey in November (see Dennis Launches New Online Lads Mag), NatMags is understood to have enlisted Ceros, producers of the Dennis title, to work on its women’s online magazine.

The magazine will target 13-19 year old girls and offer a mix of fashion, music, film and TV. Each issue will have a minimum of 35 pages.

Like Monkey, the NatMags offering will be emailed to subscribers for free every week and include display ads, sponsorship and bumper ads.

Project Celia is being developed by Celia Duncan, editor of Cosmo Girl!, which leaves that magazine looking for an acting editor.

NatMags currently publishes monthly magazines including Cosmopolitan, Coast, Harpers Bazaar and She.

This Thursday’s ABCs, covered in full detail on NewsLine, will be the first time figures have been released for an online magazine, when Monkey is included.
