BMP DDB Needham and Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO have joined forces with Alban Communications to launch a new joint venture company; the new poster specialist, Outdoor Connection, will launch on 1 January 1994, with projected billings of around £14m.
The three partners will each have a stake of a third in the company. Alban, the holding company of Concord, will provide the management expertise. Carole Kerman will become Managing Director of Outdoor Connection. The new company will lay a strong emphasis on campaign planning, aided by links with the media departments of its parent agencies.
