New Programme Controller For Capital Gold

Capital Gold 1548 AM’s head of production, Andy Turner, has been appointed to the newly created post of programme controller Capital Gold, with responsibility across the Capital Radio Group’s AM network.

Yesterday morning the Capital Gold service was rolled out across a network comprising its present London service, XTRA AM 1152 in Birmingham, Capital Gold Kent and South Coast Radio in Hampshire and Sussex (see Capital Gold To Extend Reach).

Capital has also said that it has created a new position of group head of adult brands responsible for the Gold Network/Adult Contemporary Radio. The position will be advertised shortly.
