New Promotional And Marketing Initiatives At CITV

ITV has announced new marketing initiatives in conjunction with its children’s programming on CITV. In association with its schedule of drama and events, it is offering advertisers the opportunity to sponsor specific programmes and promotions. Advertisers are being offered the chance to use the CITV idents between programmes as a sponsorship vehicle.
According to ITV its children’s section has a weekly reach of 6.7m children. Director of Carlton UK sales argues that the use of brand idents in their programme range creates a “unique and incredibly powerful tool for brands to reach this audience.”
The new CITV schedule promises home-produced drama, new animations and Spice Girls specials.
