Cabal Communications, the publishing venture launched last Thursday by Sally O’Sullivan, has poached more staff from IPC (see Newsline). Brant Richards and James Beechnor-Collins, formerly at Mountain Bike Rider, are amongst the newcomers, along with Keith Simpson and Amanda Edwards, IPC’s former ad director and chief sub respectively.
Cabal’s new communications and marketing manager, Jennifer Press, came over to Cabal from Pearson. Still in its early stages, Cabal Communication’s people are giving nothing away about the new titles due to be launched, but speculation suggests that around 12 new titles can be expected within the next year.
