IPC Magazines’ SouthBank Publishing Group has appointed Yvonne Ramsden as the new publishing director of its Home Interest Group following the departure of Jackie Newcombe.
IPC’s Home Interest Group launched Living etc (see Newsline) and 25 Beautiful Homes (see Newsline) last year, and Yvonne was a key part of those launches. She has been part of the Home Interest Group for the last three years and is currently shortlisted for this years PPA Publisher of the Year Award.
Colin Reeves-Smith, SouthBank’s managing director, commented: “Yvonne’s promotion comes at an optimum time in her career, having been recognised by the PPA for her leading role in both of SouthBank’s popular new launches. In addition, she has contributed greatly to the ongoing development of both Ideal Home and Homes & Gardens. Her appointment is richly deserved.”
Jackie Newcombe has been with IPC since 1989, and was the publishing director behind the launch of Now magazine.
