Sports Digest Ltd are to launch a monthly magazine, Sports Digest, on September 16th. It will have a cover price of £1.95 and an initial print run of 82,000.
The editorial is not intended to be a news publication, but a digest, with controversial articles and opinions. These articles will be written every month by top sport writers from the national press, who have agreed to contribute to each issue.
The first issue carries a banded supplement on sporting legends, with each writer contributing a piece on their own favourite sporting hero.
The first issue also includes a 24 page supplement from Sky Sports, who have a joint deal with Sports Digest to include promotion on air. It will be A4 size, with 132 pages.
