New Spot-The-Difference TV Ads

New Spot-The-Difference TV Ads

The I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter TV ads will soon feature a first in TV advertising: a spot-the-difference competition regarding two deceptively different commercials.

The 30-second commercials will launch on 11th March and viewers will be able to find five subtle differences between the two films, created by the McCann-Erickson advertising agency in London. Viewers will have a week to check the ads and note the changes, with prizes of £10,000 for the five winners. Entry forms will be appearing in the national press and via Teletext from 1-17 March.

The pair of commercials will be aired in episodes of Coronation Street, Home & Away, Roseanne and Brookside. Times of the ads will also appear in the press. A spokeswoman for I Can’t Believe It’s not Butter says: “We created the spot-the-difference campaign to simply be different – to break with the norm – and also to add an extra element of fun and interest to our advertising.”
